Talk Title: "Ultracold Collisions in the Uberresonant Regime"
Abstract:
Collisions at the very lowest energies, achieved in sub-microKelvin gases, bring novel phenomena that suggest their own set of theoretical tools for their interpretation. I will give an overview of several of these, focusing on the possibility that these collisions expose a tremendous set of resonant states. Such resonances may have implications both for experimental stability of ultracold gas experiments, as well as unique probes of quantum chaos.
